This is Sherman. I purchased Sherman from Trudy Kordsmeier in Morrillton, Arkansas. She raises some of the most beautiful and correct mastiffs I have ever seen. Sherman's brother and sister, Lee and Keta are now International Champions!!! They each won this title competing in IABCA shows. IABCA is a show association in which you compete against the standard for the English Mastiff, so the title of International Champion is really special. Each dog in the show has the chance of getting a V1 rating for one "leg" of the Int’l title (it takes 3 V1 ratings - with at least one from an international judge to get the Int’l CH title) and V1’s are not given automatically. They are earned based on the individual dogs' conformation. Not every dog will get a V1 rating. IABCA shows are woderful ; in my opinion, because the dog is judged against the standard that is set for each particular breed. It is very important to us that breeding stock be kept within the original standards layed down by breed founders long ago.
